EpicDream have created another highly enjoyable FMV thriller with splashes of romance. Cellveilance features a stellar cast and is funny, interesting, and crammed with branching paths. It gets the fundamentals right, although there are minor issues due to the fragmenting story.

You play as the manager of a large apartment complex, and to get extra money for your sick mother, you secretly report on the residents. So you place hidden cameras everywhere and almost immediately see a dead body in a suitcase. Do you notify the police or get a nice payday? Other reportable incidents include suicide ideation, assault, secret relationships, theft, and bizarre rituals. Also, somebody in the complex might be a serial killer. Cellveilance was banned in China for voyeurism, but the implied rape scenes are more unsettling. You decide how to act, what to report, and hopefully nobody finds out.

Five women form the backbone of the story and they each have secrets to uncover which makes the story interesting. You will need to visit most branching paths to get the full picture. Although primarily a thriller (70:30), the five are romance options, with tender scenes interspersed and several layered finales. The cast is impressive, with four being genre pros that outdo their previous work (including Love is All Around, Game of Fate 1, and Half Billion: Love Choice). One actress seems to be new to the genre but more than stands up. While the balance between thriller and romance is fine, sometimes it feels like the romantic element was included for convention sake.

The first run through the game will take under three hours, which is a little brief, but Cellveilance is built around its branching paths. There are so many, with hilarious scenes, evil activities, dream scenarios, and insta-fail deaths or arrests. Some continuity issues are present due to the spider-web narrative. And unfortunately you won’t see a happy ending until hour seven because you have to unlock all five character endings (in two stages) before you get the proper endings. And getting there means dancing around the timeline like a madman. Good news, the game tells you what is required. Bad news, you still have to juggle money and karma, which is a pain. All up it will take about 11 hours to see everything. This is good value and worth doing, but still a fraction tedious.

Video quality is excellent, especially if you have 296GB (!) of free space for the 4K videos. Audio is nearly all live recorded and only required a few volume adjustments to reach perfection. Translation is probably the best from EpicDream to date, although it needed minor tweaks. EpicDream have now solidified themselves as the most consistent producers of quality experiences in the genre.

"Cellveillance" is a detective drama entertainment product, you will visit the apartment every day, and the entire apartment is responsible for everything that happens in the apartment, a mysterious organization asks you to return the information of the residents. You came here to pay your debts, but when staring into the abyss becomes your duty, how do you choose? After more than 20 hours playing this game and reach all achievements and read all the manuscript, here is my opinion about this game:

1. Plot: Just like the producer said on the announcement before the game release, different choice leads to different branches of the story, and it will involve a lot of scenes that we have to use our mind to determine how the story goes and who is the final boss.

2. Gameplay: in this game, the most interesting I like is that it has the karma which will increase if you choose the bad way and it affects a lot to our endings, branch and also our behavior. Also, the Card Game reminds me a lot about the TFT games from LOL and for me it is the reason why I spend a lot of time in this game and the variety of the cards also makes me feel that the producer spends lots of effort into this game.

3. Ending: there will be a lot of BE throughout the games and also the silver ending(Normal Ending), gold ending (Good Ending) and hidden ending (true ending or perfect ending)-which is the specialty of the Epic Dream Games and they never make me feel disappointed.

With the 4K DLC is free when I bought this game, the graphics are the most valuable of the game so I hope you guys will enjoy the high-quality video in this game.

Ngày đầu tiên nhậm chức, bạn phát hiện mình đã dính vào một vụ giết người trong căn hộ. Liệu bạn sẽ làm gì trong trường hợp này ? Cốt truyện: Giống như nhà sản xuất đã nói trong thông báo trước khi trò chơi được ra mắt, các lựa chọn khác nhau sẽ dẫn đến các nhánh khác nhau của câu chuyện và điều đặc biệt là nhà phát hành bắt chúng ta phải sử dụng trí thông minh của mình để có thể hiểu được hết cốt truyện và phân tích xem chuyện gì đang xảy ra.

2. Lối chơi: trong trò chơi này, điều thú vị nhất mà mình thích là game có KARMA(nghiệp chướng) sẽ tăng lên nếu bạn chọn báo lại những thông tin cho tổ chức hoặc làm những điều sai trái, nó ảnh hưởng rất nhiều đến cách mà cốt truyện diễn ra và phản ánh lên 1 phần hành vi không chuẩn mực của NVC. Ngoài ra, Card Game làm mình nhớ rất nhiều đến TFT từ Liên Minh và đối với cá nhân mình, đó là lý do tại sao mình lại dành nhiều thời gian cho trò chơi này và sự đa dạng của các lá bài cũng khiến mình cảm thấy rằng nhà sản xuất đã dồn rất nhiều nỗ lực và quyết tâm vào game này.

3. Ending: sẽ có rất nhiều BE trong suốt trò chơi và cả sliver ending (Kết thúc bình thường), Gold Ending (Good Ending) và kết thúc ẩn (true ending hoặc perfect ending) - đó là đặc sản của Epic Dream Games và họ không bao giờ khiến mình cảm thấy thất vọng.
