Neofeud Troubleshooting
1.) The game isn't displaying right in full screen mode, getting cut off or the game window is very small.

- Try running "Setup" and then in the "Scaling" drop-down box choose, "Stretch To Fit Screen". You can also try changing the resolution, and tweaking other settings.

-Alternatively, try setting your display's resolution to 1366x768 or playing the game in windowed mode. You can turn on windowed mode by running setup.

2.) The mouse is moving slowly.

-You can increase or decrease the mouse speed in the setup configuration

(Check out the Steam thread for other fixes)

3.) I'm getting a black screen when I run the game.

-The game may take a little while to load up the first time you run it.

-Try changing the driver in setup to "Direct3D 9".

Regarding point 3, which seems to be a common problem with AGS games using Direct3D 9 since the Windows 10 Creators Update, in my experience you can resolve this by either:
- using DirectDraw 5 rather than Direct3D 9, or
- by setting the compatibility options for Neofeud to Windows 8, or Windows 7.

To do this, right-click the game in Steam and choose Properties, then click on Local Files, and then Browse Local Files. Right-click on the Neofeud file, then choose Properties, then in the Compatibility tab, under Compatibility mode tick the box and choose Windows 8 or Windows 7 in the dropdown. Click OK, then try running the game as normal.

Hello! I want to report a minor bug. This bug is encountered during the second visit to the lab, when its occupant is a bit more lively than he was the first time you meet him. After you fail to convince him to leave, the player is prompted to investigate the lab a little more.

If I try to exit the lab at this point, the game will replay the scripted event that already occurred the first time I left the lab. This confuses the game and warps the player sprite to the Shuffler's office location, after which AGS generates an error and the game crashes.

This doesn't seem to be a major issue, just a possible heads-up for any future patches.

I have a weird one: The game loaded fine the first time I played it, but the 2nd time when I went to load it, I got an error message saying: 'ERROR: Unable to find game data files'
I verified the game data on Steam with no issues, and even deleted and reinstalled the game, but still got the error message.
I have figured out how to get into it now, just by using the config utility every time, but it's a bit of an annoyance.

the scaling works ok i guess. But cant get rid of the Mouse cursor stuck in the middle of the (game)screen. And after doing a Alt-Tab to steam overlay game text flash off the second it is displayed and game glitches like crazy.
